American Pachuco: The legend of luis valdez (2026)

Daniel Lee worked as a post production PA while working as an intern at Insignia Films, working heavily in Avid Media Composer.

American Pachuco is a critically acclaimed documentary following the fantastical Luis Valdez which has screened as part of the official selection of the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and won the 2025 $200,000 Library of Congress Levine/Ken Burns Prize.

As a post production PA at Insignia Films, Daniel Lee quality checked large quantities of footage, assisted in the finalizing of the broadcast version of the film for PBS, and gained much experience in working with Avid Media Composer and working in a feature film post production project.
